In this session, Susan Clews, CEO for Acas, will discuss the changing landscape of the way we work, as many businesses are opting to maintain the format of hybrid working, brought about by the pandemic. 

Susan will outline the current trends in both hybrid and wider flexible working practices, exploring what the benefits and challenges associated with hybrid working are, especially regarding business productivity. 

Susan will also discuss the work Acas undertook with the government’s Flexible Working Taskforce, to develop the new guidance for employers surrounding hybrid working.

Susan will conclude this session by offering best practices for small businesses on how to manage the transition into a more flexible working environment, and how they can support staff as they do so.
